MovementArt-Colour, form and storytelling. Children 4-6 years old with adult. At Drop in 170 for each class. Class Sun 23, Mon 24 and Tues 25 of July at 9.30-10.40 am. Art supplies included.

We listen and moving to music instrument and exercises in rhythm & pace. Some recorded music. We also do movement to a story that is told and from that inspiration come forth. From the story maybe a song can come forth or a song we know. We play around colour and paint. We dive into some particular colours each class, and who knows, maybe a story is hidden in the colour? We try watercolour, crayons, mixed waterbased colours, small to large papers. Images take form, maybe sometimes the image wants to be created into a papersculpture. All the images created by the children can be imagined into a story/play or are a continuation of the story that is told through movement.

There are 3 classes held in July and there will be different themes in picture making each class. Though the movementstory may be the same given to strengthen understanding and recognizing the movementpatterns/gestures if you participate in more than one class.
